Solving an experiment
Before an experiment (defined as a flock) can be solved, it must contain at least one item of each type (e.g. breed, economics, etc). See How to design a flock.
Once this requirement has been satisfied, a new menu item Solve appears on the pop-up menu accessed by right-clicking on the experiment item. This menu option is only visible if a flock contains at least one item of each type.
If more than one treatment is included in an experiment the results of each treatment are displayed in sub-folders created for this purpose. Single solutions are placed directly under the flock. Treatment names may be edited. Select a treatment to see results displayed on the right-hand side in various formats. The screenshots below illustrate two treatments: the difference between selling live males vs live females.
