Economics summary report

The economics report shows an economic analysis of growth for each partial crop. To generate the report in Excel, select a solution, and click on the Reports tab on the right. Clicking the Economics report button will display the report in Excel.

Information presented includes:

• the number of birds at the start of the simulation
• the mortality (as a percentage of the initial number)
• the stocking density, expressed both as birds per unit of floor area and as units of live weight per unit of floor area
• the number of batches of broilers that could be reared in one year (given the criterion for terminating each batch and the length of the clean-out period)
• a table giving the margin per bird and the margin per unit of floor area both per cycle and per year.
